At Brookwood, our dedicated University and Guidance Counselling department starts early (from Year 9) and walks students through every stage.
University guidance is included for all full-time homeschool students. Part-time tuition students can also access this service at a nominal additional fee. We use BridgeU, a leading university and career guidance platform, alongside personalised one-on-one counselling to connect students with programmes they're passionate about and universities that are the best fit for them.

Early college awareness through small group sessions and individual meetings. Students take careers profiling assessments to identify strengths, interests, and suitable career paths. We help them explore different fields and discover options they may not have considered.
Based on career interests and university course requirements, we advise on A-Level subject combinations that keep doors open. This is one of the most critical decisions — the wrong combination can block access to certain courses. We make sure that doesn't happen.
Build a shortlist of 5–8 universities that match your child's profile and ambitions. Attend virtual open days, understand entry requirements, and explore course search tools. We help students see beyond rankings to find the right cultural and academic fit.
We manage the application process — UCAS for UK universities, Common App for US, direct applications for Canada, Australia, and Kenya. Workshops help with college essays, and we guide students through every form, deadline, and requirement.
When results come out, we help students respond to offers, navigate clearing if needed, and make final decisions. We stay available through the entire results period — because this is when support matters most.
